Bee Nice Summer Concert Series

Charles Brooks, DMA will be the featured artist this Friday night for the Bee Nice Music Summer Concert Series, held and hosted by Dave Mooney and Penni Guidry at their home in Capital Heights neighborhood in Baton Rouge, LA. The Bee Nice Concerts are designed to promote local musicians and to give the growing Capital Heights community access to the finest live music for FREE without having to leave the comfort of their own neighborhood. 

Brooks, a classically trained percussionist, will perform a solo set from 7-8 p.m. on Vibraphone and hand percussion. From 8-9 p.m. he will bring his group The Charles Brooks Collective to the stage to perform jazz fusion and original compositions. 

The Charles Brooks Collective is an eclectic celebration of music featuring a magnetic collaboration between Charles Brooks, DMA and a solid rotation of guest musicians. For the Bee Nice Concert, The Collective will feature Ross Hoppe on keyboards, Robert Kling on electric bass, Chris "the Kat" Lee on drums, with Brooks on the vibraphone.
